For a couple of days now Tinkerbell has been concerned about Jane, she’s been locked up inside her house for about four days and hasn’t been very social. She guessed it was because Vitani had disappeared again and it was taking a toll on Jane. As much as Tink loved Vitani she was upset with her for leaving Jane, two times now, with no warning or even a note. She knew how much Jane liked her, but Tink thinks Jane deserves a girl or a guy who won’t run away. Tink had finally convinced Jane to get over to her apartment and see her and the twins. With Jane leaving for college in a few months she wanted to spend as much time with her as possible, she knew she was going to miss her like crazy, heck she even cried a few times just talking about it already. She was in the middle of feeding Brendon and Leia in their high chairs, since they’re old enough for baby food now, when she heard a knock on the door. She set the baby food down on the counter and answered the door to see Jane standing there, “mommy!” Tink wrapped her arms around her and hugged her tight, “I thought you weren’t gonna come or something,” she pulled her inside and Brendon and Leia began squealing and pounding their little fists on the high chair tray when they saw Jane.
Jane had been feeling in an odd mood ever since she’d graduated. Perhaps it was the shock of finally finishing high school or perhaps it was the knowledge that she would be moving far away from her home that she’d just began to feel included in, either way Jane was in a rut. It also might’ve been due to the fact that her girlfriend had abandoned her without a word for the second time. That kind of thing can really mess you up… However, she was glad that she’d agreed to leave the safety of her home to visit Tink and her babies. She thought it wouldn’t be so bad because at least she’d be in someone else’s house and not out in the open. Since Tink’s new apartment was a bit of a long walk, Jane decided to take her car. She’d lately began to associate cars with crying since the last few times she’d used her car it’d been to drive around town and cry, but this time she was determined to not shed a tear. She broke this promise to herself half way through the drive and let a few tears roll down her cheek just thinking of the day she has to get on a plane and leave Tink behind. Tink was one of her first friends here and her best friend. Although their personalities are complete opposites, Jane feels like they have such a connection that she could never replace. When she pulled up she steeled her nerves and gripped the steering wheel, chanting, “I will not cry” over and over before finally unbuckling and going up to the door. She knocked and Tink answered, looking elated to see her. “Baby!” She said, hugging Tink back. Tears were already threatening to spill over her eyelids but she pushed them back. Tink pulled her into her house and her babies began shrieking and banging their fists on their trays like they were demanding some sort of human sacrifice the minute Jane walked in. She was intimidated. Babies are scary as hell. “Um… Hi.” She said, waving at the two mini-people.
Yes! Aww. That’ll be perfect. I don’t mind being a cat lady anymore.
And we’ll wear cat sweaters and we’ll take our Christmas pictures with our cats and they’ll all have personalized beds and scratching posts! I’m so excited!
Aww. I’m gonna be the weird cat lady buying all her cats clothes. Pahaha. Dewey.
Me too. We can be weird cat ladies together and have birthday parties for our cats!
Just please let me be a nerd about this video and song for a little while. :D
My favorite song from her new album… I just had an eargasm.
I’m tempted to get another cat.
Oh god. I’m going to end up alone with 17 cats and no job.
I want another cat too but the apartment I picked out for when I leave for college was very angry with me for having three cats.
